File license

The part is yours: print and sell as many as you like.

No unit limit and on any channel, free models included. The one rule is not passing the file on. This page sums up, in plain English, the license that covers every STL Prime download. You accept it once, on the screen where you create your account, and get a copy by e-mail.

Have parts printed by a print service, on your behalf.
Keep using what you already downloaded, even if you cancel.
Edit the model in STEP on the Business and Farm plans.

×You can't

Pass on, sell, give away or publish the file.
Put the file in a bundle, group, course or another site.
Use the files to train artificial intelligence.
Remove the identification embedded in the file.
Claim you designed the model.

!Watch out

You're responsible for the parts you sell: test them before using them for loads, food contact, electrical or safety purposes.
Every file carries an identifier linked to your account.
You have 14 days to withdraw from a subscription, with a full refund (Terms, section 7).

Which text is binding?

The license itself, the File License Terms (PDF, version 1.0), is a contract written in Portuguese, and for now it exists only in Portuguese. This page and section 9 of the Terms of Service are English summaries of it. If this summary and the PDF differ, the PDF prevails.

Free: the free models, for anyone with an account.
Maker: the month's new releases plus the models you unlock within your monthly quota.
Business and Farm: the whole catalog, with the STEP file when the model has one (not the native CAD file or its parametric history). The media pack is our photos, videos and artwork of the models, for promoting your own products.
Farm: up to 3 identified team members, in a single business. A model made to order for a Farm subscriber stays exclusive to them for 90 days after delivery.

Where do I accept the license?

On the screen where you create your account: the box starts unchecked, and without it the account isn't created. You accept it once, and it's recorded with the document version, date, time and IP address. A PDF copy goes to your e-mail. Downloads unlock only after that.
